DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
The Department is one among the flagships of the College with best infrastructure, able faculties and very superlative output all through the year since its inception in 2002.
The Department runs B.Sc. Hons programme in Information Technology and Add-On (Vocational) Course in Information Technology with 60 and 40 seats respectively.
Admission in B.Sc (IT) is done on the basis of an Admission test (Written & Interview) whereas admission for the Add-On course is on first come first serve basis.
With the brilliant performance of 100% result in University exam and with the leadership of Dr.Anwar Shahab Prof. Incharge the department looks ahead to excell in Vocational education.

Computer Lab
The Department has a well furnished Air-Conditioned Computer lab having 23 Computers with latest configurations. The Department and its Lab is connected with the Local Area Network (LAN) of the College. This has helped us in managing our affairs better and swift transfer of data and resource sharing. The environment and ambience has been specially created to make student feel comfortable.
Lingua Lab
Another feature added to our modern infracture was a place for language lovers. The College has set up a Language Resource Centre with a language lab to train students in foreign languages like German, French and Arabic. There are facilities to learn Urdu and regional languages like Santhali and Ho keeping in mind the local aspirations. It has been made compulsory for the students of B.Sc.IT Part-I to opt for a foreign language in either French or German depending on their individual choice. The goal is to arm all our students with verbal and written skills of one foreign language to make them different and yet special at global level.
