DR.MOHAMMAD ZAKARIA

Born in a distant village of Nawada, Bihar on 12th December 1954, Dr.Mohammad Zakaria recieved his school education from Calcutta. After doing M.Sc. Chemistry from AMU Aligarh in 1977 he joined Karim City College on 19th August 1978. He did his Ph.D from Ranchi University in 1992. He served the College in different administrative positions:

Incharge, Science Faculty - 1983 - 2000

Bursor - 1992 - 2000

Comissioned NCC officer - 1994 - 2003

Admission Incharge - 1994 - 2003

Vice Principal - 24.11.2000 - 04.12.2003

Principal - 05.12.2003 till date

When he resigned from the post of NCC officer he was holding the rank of a Captain. A hardworker and a staunch believer in academic excellence, he was nominated as the member of Ranchi University Academic Council in 2009 and presently he is a member of the Academic Council of Kolhan University, Chaibasa.

An amateur singer with one album of ghazals 'AKS' under his credit, Dr. Zakaria is planning to release his next album of ghazals 'Rubab' this year.

We give wings to the dreams of our students and it is our social duty and religious obligation to fulfil those responsibilities which their parents and guardians have bestowed upon us and the hope and wishes which they have associated with us.
